Unlike most mana dorks, you can use Wall of Roots the turn it comes into play and use it on your opponents' turns and still block with it since it doesn't tap for mana
And, as is a running theme amongst white creatures, the Grand Abolisher is big enough to be pulled back with a Reveillark or Sun Titan to continually cause problems
Go ahead and run this in a Yuriko, the Tigers Shadow Commander deck if you want to get really funky
If a spell or ability an opponent controls causes you to discard Loxodon Smiter, put it onto the battlefield instead of putting it into your graveyard
